The Armasight NAMPVS7001G3DA1 PVS-7 GEN 3 Ghost Night Vision Goggle
is used by the U.S. Military and features an ergonomic and rugged design. The AN/PVS-7D system is well suited in combat as the Goggle is equipped with high-performance Gen 3 image tubes.
The PVS-7 Goggle features an Automatic Brightness Control (ABC) which automatically adjusts the brightness of the image tube to achieve the high-quality image resolution under varying light conditions. It has a built-in IR illuminator that allows the user to operate in total darkness. This PVS-7 also has a high-light cut-off feature that protects the image tube from bright light sources, and a flip-up, shut-off feature when used with the helmet mount assembly (sold separately). The PVS-7 also has two LED indicators: yellow for a low battery and red to alert the operator that the IR illuminator is on. Both the indicators are displayed on the eyepiece screen. Lightweight, rugged, and versatile, the Armasight PVS-7 Night Vision Goggle can be hand-held, head-mounted, and helmet-mounted. The dismounted Goggle can also be used as an excellent long-range viewer with the afocal magnifier lenses (sold separately).
